we fired our chef

we fired our chef (the one who cooks, not the boss). i do not why but my colleagues (who are here since much more time than me)decided it. we are firing everyone. next time maybe we will fire ourselves :)
however, the atmosphere in the bureau is getting worse. my colleagues are always complaining about the local staff.
i just hope in the next three months nothing bad will happen. what happened to an other international ngo, anyway, some weeks ago is quite worrying. they assaulted one of their car, but not to rob anything, and they killed a french cooperant. it happened in a little town in the countriside, where everybody knows everything of the others. but they still do not get the offenders, and it means people are not cooperating with the police. there are only some rumors about someone who wanted to get a revenge after he was fired.
as a result, the police has arrested some people without any reason, just to demonstrate they have some results (for exemple, the two woman from burundi who were in the car with the french woman and risked to die with her; and they are still in prison).
i do not know how long i'm going to resist to this permanent sensation of unsecurity.
