Parte 3 - in camper in Turchia

Antep 4, or about hospitality

People in Antep were very kind with us, poor strangers lost in the all the same streets of the town. One came with us for five minutes in the wrong direction (for him) to show us the bus. An other ate with us giving his advise about the food we had to take and then brought us to the mosque he went in to pray (but we were a bit upset that he didn't want to take us for a mosques tour as we thought). But the funniest was an about 40 year old public financial accountant to whom we asked the bus stop direction: first he came with us untill the station, then he asked the office guy for a timetable, then obliged us to follow to a pstry shop where ho bought some nice sweet balls filled with honey, then brought us and the honey balls to his office where we ate all together with his colleagues, all this speaking only some (not always conprehensible) words in english. At one moment, like to justify his behaviour, he said that he hopes that, when (if) he goes to Italy, someone will do the same thing to him. I smiled but I didn't say yes.
