in search of a professional course

finally a true working day, here in gitega, trying to find a professional course to ten guys. starting from the conclusion, i maybe found something interesting. that is, a local ngo called miparec, that organises some courses for youngs in menuserie, mechanical (repairing cars), house construction and couture (the last three are also for girls). they seem ready to start immediately (the project has to stop in january 2009, then we have little time), the ngo is quite big (they receive most of their funds from dutch and german ngos), their laboratories have now been working for some years, and rumors tell they work well. we have to agree about the price, and where to host the guys during the week (some of them come from outside the town) and how to nourrire them. moreover, during the professional apprentice, they teach subjects like pacific resolution of conflicts, respect of the others and so on. they are a protestant ngo, and the project is a project whose donor is italian catholic church, but it would not be a problem, i think.
to sum up, they have appeared to me better organised (and more willing) to welcome the guys in respect of the catholic diocese of gitega (but tomorrow i will speak again to them). of course, they will receive quite a big sum to teach the guys, so i guess it´s normal they are happy.
