salaries
the salary of all the jobs/stages i'm applying for is never above 1000 euros. sometimes it's 1000. is that the normal salary of a first job experience also in the rest of europe? i guess not.
what i'm sure is that me and my friends (apart from very few people who, just after the end of university, got a job better paid than 1000 euros, but you really have to very very lucky), no matter what faculty we attended (political science, humanities, veterinary science), we are all sharing the same situation of PRECARIETA' and uncertainty about our future. permanent employment contracts and above 1000 euros salaries seem impossible to get (maybe it's not what i want, but i would really love to have the chance to say no to that at least one time).
why did i chose to attend university? of course not to be more educated, or because i was interested in international relations; the real reason is that i wanted to gain a lot of money :)
but then nobody told me that it would have been better to attend a mechanic course or to became a shop assistant...
fortunately the new government is working hard to help young people to enter into the job market and to create the right environment to garantee to everybody a decent salary ad a minimum of welfare state. il decreto sulle intercettazioni, quello sull'immunità, le impronte ai nomadi (sono senza vergogna (il governo, non i nomadi)) are going exactly this way.
