Mobile phones

In this country they have a bad relationship with mobile phones. Activating a mobile wit a local sim is more complicated than finding someone speaking english (which is really complicated as well). My story is that: one month ago when I came here i bought a sim and put it into the phone. Then i thoght i was done. But after three days the mobile said "sim non registered" i understood something was wrong. So i went to the shop (where nobody speaks english) and made some worried gestures to them holding the phone in my hand. Someway they seemed to undertood, because they took my passport, made a copy of it and said tamam, which means ok. Perplexed but happy i went home and after one day sim worked. As a turkish friend explained me later, they have to register the sim otherways doesn't work.
Then i was sure that i was done. But yesterday, after one month when sim plus mobile were ok, suddenly "sim not registered" appeared again. So i went to the shop again but my gestures that time didn't succeed. Then i called one local friend to help me: together we went to a shop whose owner was a friend of him, but they told us to go to the shop where i bought the card. In that shop, they told us to go to the central bureau of the company. In the central bureau of the company, they explained thet here not only sim has to be registered but also mobile phose. It happened that after one month someone realized that my phone was not registered and blocked my sim. Now i have to wait form 2 to 10 days for the mobile registration. I hope my phone will work in the proper way before my leaving date.
