spanish teacher
today i was a professor. i taught spanish to a class of 40 youngsters from kamenge (in the centre jeunes kamenge, of which i have spoken in a previous post). it was tiring, but i liked it. they payed enough attention, and even if the were too many for the dimension of the room and i had no idea of what level they had in french (did they all know french well?) it seemed to me they could follow my explications. there were many questions, and a good atmosphere. of course it was a spanish lesson for beginners, otherwise i maybe couldn't be able to do that. and it was nice also because it was the first time i was a teacher, and i understood how difficult it is to do this work in a good way. if i do not have to work next monday i will give an other class. and as i'm not payed to do that, i hope the boss (a priest) of the centre jeunes will invite me more often to have dinner with them in the centre jeunes; they always eat a lot there, it's better than a restaurant. en cambio, most of the time i only eat a real meal when we go out, because i'm lazy and nunca en casa tengo ganas de cocinar solo para mi. this evening for example i ate parmigiano, torrone and coca cola, what it was at disposal in the cocina. :)
