shoting

two days ago, while one of my colleagues was coming home from the bureau, 8 of the night, one of the main streets of bujumbura, they started to shoot. it was quite funny, he told me: everthing was normal and quiet, like other evenings, when he suddenly heard the noise of kalashnikofs. one second later all people walking along the street were lying on the road. i wonder: what do you do when they shoot next to you? he turned the car and went away. afterwards, we found out it was a clash between police and criminals.
aprt from that, we have some problems also in cibitoke, north of bujumbura, where the ngo is working as well. we have recently been the objective of some hostile actions, and the atmosphere seems to get worse.
