Parte 3 - in camper in Turchia

Safranbolu

After some days in Italy (let's forget the results of the elections) I'm back in Turkey: first I spent two days in Istambul to visit something more (but the city is so big that I still have a lot of things to see) and to meet some of the Istambul friends, now I'm again at home in Ankara.
Today I took one more day of vacation and with the other italian girl of our host association we went so Safranbolu, three hours by bus from Ankara. We left the morning and came back the night. So far Safranbolu is for sure the most beautiful town I have seen in Turkey. It's a perfectly original/restored ottoman town with traditional houses and mosques developping over some rocky small hills. There isn't any ugly modern building and only few cars. We spent all day exploring its quiet little streets, going up and down to the hills and discovering wonderful views at every corner. The town is protected by UNESCO and it's still little known among tourists: so look for some pictures on the web and go there before it's too late :)
ps: maybe june is the best period of the year, because there are a lot of mulberry trees (mora di gelso) and now the fruits are ripen
