Konya (nicer than Gaziantep)

Last week we went with the caravan to a festival in Konya, a town some hours south of Ankara. Konya is really very nice, with a lot of parks (even though in this country they have some problems with where to put trees, because sometimes they plant them exactly in the middle of the pavement so to avoid them you risk to be killed by the cars) and a nice atmosphere. But Konya is famous above all because it's the place where sufism was born, as the founder of that philosophy of Islam set its seat and gathered his followers here. Now the mosque and all the complex of ancient buildings host a museum, which is really worth to see.
