according the arusha agreement, which put an end to the civil war some years ago, every armed group has to give back his armas before 31 december 2007. but there are rumors acording to which the fnl, the last group of rebels, is not going to do that, and, at the contrary, it is reorganising the army, and that's why in the last weeks the attacks against the population living around bujumbura are growing.
everything can happen now: the worst is a new civil war. but to know we have to wait the end of the year.
