there is an other thing i forgot. the level of the lake is going down very fast. at the beach you can see some moli (where you tie the boats), built ten years ago, which now are unuseful because the water has diminuished too much. it seems to me very worrying (also because it's sure the explotation of the lake will became bigger and bigger in the future), the lake is the most important natural resource of burundi (there are no minerals here). but who can think of dealing whith such a (for now small) problem when there is a civil war that can start every moment?
