badminton
it took three weeks to my ngo to get the new visa. three weeks during which i had to stay in bujumbura, doing almost nothing (because there was no work, not because i didn't want to). as a further proof of the high organisational level of my ngo, the other three italians who are doing the civil service in burundi for other ngos didn't have any problem to renew their visas.
trying to find something to do, i found out some badminton fields and i went to play. last time (and first time) i played badminton was in bordeaux, during my erasmus, where badminton and ping pong where the only sports you could do for free in the university. i still remember with pleasure those evenings playing with erasmus friends in the big gym of bordeaux university campus, and i have to say that i still like badminton. it can seem a stupid game, but it's not and it's also quite tiring (but playing in four is better than in two).
