Parte 3 - in camper in Turchia

un people

foreign people working for the ngos (above all italian) are paid very little (too little, see a previous post), foreign people working for UN are pais very much. actually is too much. the boss of a UN agency in burundi can be paid something like 25ooo euros per month, but everyone there hardly gets less than 5000 per month. i think it's very unfair, because:
1) un should use the money they receive (which is also our money) to develop burundi, not to pay absurd wages and privileges to foreign people working for some years in burundi
2) un people are paid much more than everyone else in burundi (maybe just apart from the president and few else), even if they do a work which is often not very demanding
3) the amount of the un wages is totally disconnected from the reality of the country, and it seems to me not only unfair but also unrespectful to local people. by what they get, un people can buy a boat every month, change a prostitute every day, etc etc
4) finally, when there are un people living, the price of the goods in the markets (incuded food) raises, and local people can not afford to buy them anymore.
anyway, i would like to be one of them instead one of one poor ngo guy :)
