waiting for a chicken

if you go to the restaurant in burundi better to go two hours before the time you want to eat. if you are lucky, thay will take one hour (even the chinese restaurant is as slow as the others!).
it seems they always have to go and find and kill and cook the chicken you ordered. even to prepare the simplest dish (salad and tomatos) they have biblical times.
it sounds absurd, but it's like this and i guess it will always be like this.
