thunders and lightinings

as i have already said, it should rain more than it does. anyway, when it rains, it rains for short times, maybe very intensively, but no more than ten or twenty minutes usually, and then it stops. but the very bizarre thing is the intensity not of the rain but of the lightnings and thunders. lightnings seem always falling three meters from you, and thunders are so noisy to frighten you every time.
